Todd Takes a Break!

July 12, 2008

Personally I am extremely glad that Todd Bentley has stepped out of the limelight for a while

I have been enjoying him as a ministry, but concerned for him as a person.  He is so young, and yet he finds himself in the middle of something so huge.

Even the Lord Himself gave no more than a tithe of His earthly years to highly visible full-time ministry.

How much more stressful it must be for Todd when his ministry, like the Lord’s, directly challenges the religious establishment in some manner.

After the enormous level of stress he must have endured, Todd deserves to live the rest of his life in obscurity and peace, perhaps like Evan Roberts, the spearhead of the legendary Welsh Revival.

Who knows what will happen, but I hope Todd can at least decelerate, survive re-entry, and live a normal life for as long as suits him and his family.

God bless you, Todd!

Enjoy your break, friend – you earned it!

May other ministries continue to arise to fill any void.

Whatever best serves the kingdom!  May His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

For the time being, the meetings in Lakeland are off God TV but are still being streamed

The impact of this move of God will continue to be felt around the world.

“…his [Todd’s] ministry, like the Lord’s, directly challenges the religious establishment in some manner.”

What planet are you living on?

The only thing Todd Bentley has challenged is the amount of heresy, lies, blasphemy, and manipulation that someone claiming to be a Christian preacher can produce.

Think about it – almost 100 days of Lakeland and there’s not one healing that can be verified.

I never thought I’d say it, but in this instance I’m glad to be counted as part of the religious establishment.
